It's been a long time....

Well, I know that it's been a long time since I've blogged, but there's been a lot that's happened.

Let me start by saying that I am still on my journey.  To date, I have lost over 165 lbs, and I still have about 110 to go.  I am NOT going to quit.   A lot of you know that I am a high school teacher, and this past year proved to be more of a challenge in scheduling quality activity time.  This summer, I am working on a "jump start", working towards the fall, so that I can have good momentum.

I'm going to use this entry to discuss goals - Simply put, if you don't set them, you can't achieve them.  So here are my summer goals:

1 - Start more regular blog posts -- See?  I'm already starting that!!

2 - Get back in the gym - REGULARLY!  -- During the past 2 weeks, I've gotten in an average of 3 days per week.

3 - Lose 25 pounds or more by the end of August.   --- That's a big goal, but with about 8 weeks to go, I think it's doable.

4 - SET UP A PLAN for SUCCESS for the Fall!

5 - Write 2 books!   I have started writing books for use by my students in my classes.  One for Music Appreciation, and another on Student Leadership.
